The BibleLa Biblia
The Bible is God’s infallible Word and our authority for salvation and for how we live. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
(2 Timoteo 3:15-17)
GodDios
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as Father; through His Son, in redemption; and as the Holy Spirit, by emanation. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.)
(Deuteronomio 6:4; Efesios 4:4-6; Colosenses 2:9; 1 Timoteo 3:16)
Sin and salvationEl pecado y la salvación
Everyone has sinned and needs to be saved. Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith in the sacrifice Jesus made for us. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)
(Romanos 3:23-25; 6:23; Efesios 2:8-9)
The gospelEl evangelio
The good news is that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey it through repentance, baptism in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the words. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)
(1 Corintios 15:1-4; Hechos 2:4, 37-39; Romanos 6:3-4)
Christian livingLa vida cristiana
We are called to love God and love people, to live a holy life inside and out, and to worship with joy. The gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
(Marcos 12:28-31; 2 Corintios 7:1; Hebreos 12:14; 1 Corintios 12:8-10)
The return of ChristEl regreso de Cristo
Jesus Christ is coming back for His church. After that comes the final resurrection and judgment: eternal life for the righteous and eternal death for the unrighteous. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
(1 Tesalonicenses 4:16-17; Apocalipsis 20:11-15)
